Join us in celebrating Georgia's 100th year of flight!

It all started in 1907 as Ben Epps flew his aircraft 100 yards over a cow pasture near Athens, Georgia; and, as they say, the rest is history. Today, Georgia ranks 8th in nation in aerospace development and poised for additional growth by investing in its 83,000 plus skilled workforce, providing tax credits for research and development, supporting technology insertion and financing unique facilities.

Our year long anniversary celebration involves sharing a bit of history with you on this website; spectacular state-wide air show events for the whole family; a special edition publication of The Georgia Aviation Gazette, focusing on the aerospace industry and career opportunities geared towards adults and "future adults;" the debut of the Ben T. Epps Aerospace Innovation Trophy and more. Check out our events calendar often to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings...we look forward to seeing you!
