Georgia To Take Center Stage at World's Largest Aviation Show

Georgia will be well-represented at the world’s largest aviation gathering next week in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The COI for Aerospace and Middle Georgia College will host a shared exhibit at the EAA AirVenture show from July 26 through August 1. EAA AirVenture draws an annual attendance of over 500,000 and showcases more than 10,000 aircraft from all over the world. The show is a major unveiling of new innovative aerospace technologies and products from the largest aerospace companies to small garage start-ups. EAA AirVenture attracts key decision and policy makers from government including exhibits and presentations by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).

The COI for Aerospace exhibit at EAA AirVenture will showcase the efforts by Georgia to accelerate aerospace companies’ growth by helping them commercialize new products, services and business models by connecting aerospace companies with university research, industry expertise and other state resources.
