Commemorative Air Force - Dixe Wing
The Dixie Wing was approved as the 83rd CAF unit on February 28, 1987, and has since displayed its collection of vintage World War II aircraft in numerous air shows throughout the Southeast. The wing is a non-profit, tax-exempt “flying museum” that depends on contributions of time and funds to carry out its mission.
Experimental Aircraft Association
The EAA has several chapters in Georgia where members join together to create new innovative general aviation aircraft, preserve vintage civil and ex-military aircraft, and to promote awareness of the role of aviation in our society.

The National Alliance to Advance NextGen
The Federal Aviation Administration’s Next Generation Air Transportation System – called NextGen – will alleviate delays at the nation’s most congested and delay-prone airports but is years away from full implementation. The Alliance seeks to accelerate early deployment of NextGen technology to serve the national air space.
